Northern Italy - Bologna, Ravenna & Florence: November 11 - 20, 2026
At a refreshingly uncrowded time of the year, our annual fall Tour to Italy will offer the rare combination of a major opera in Bologna – Saint-Saëns’ heroic Samson et Dalila; a pair of performances at the Ravenna Mozart Festival – his peerless Requiem and mature ‘opera seria’ La Clemenza di Tito; and our long overdue return to Florence, highlighted by Verdi’s masterful Simon Boccanegra. We will begin with three nights in Bologna, renowned for Italy’s finest cuisine; followed by two nights in Ravenna, where we will discover the exquisite early Christian mosaics; ending with three nights in Florence with entry into the priceless Uffizi Gallery of Renaissance masters. We will be traveling by comfortable private coach between each city.
