The catalyst for this Early Announcement for the spring of 2027 is our confirmation of Grand Tier tickets for the MET’s Diamond Jubilee Gala, an extraordinary celebration of the Opera House’s 60th Anniversary showcasing a dazzling roster of the company’s current stars. This promises to be an unmissable event for our longtime opera lovers.

In addition to the sold-out Gala, our program will include the MET’s transcendent production of Wagner’s Parsifal led by Music Director Yannick Nézet- Séguin; a New York Philharmonic concert with Music Director Gustavo Dudamel on the podium for an all-Beethoven program; and the acclaimed New York City Ballet offering an evening of repertory favorites.

Repeating our choice of accommodations in recent years, we will again be staying (for four nights) at a private club ideally located between Lincoln Center and Carnegie Hall. Further details will be included in our Final Itinerary a month prior to the Tour. Because of our early start on May 25th, long-distance travelers should request the early additional night of the 24th. We prefer NOT to begin our program on the 24th because Monday is a dark night at most theatres.

For all of our New York Tours, a pre-opera dinner will be enjoyed on the first evening, which will provide an opportunity to meet other members of the Tour. A second lunch or dinner will be planned on our last day. We will also include a Metropolitan Museum Pass to be used at your own leisure. Transfers are included for all of our performances at Lincoln Center. (We always walk the short distance to Carnegie Hall, the Rose Theatre at Columbus Circle, the City Center, and any Broadway show at Studio 54.)
